 Cindy + Danielle Hartog are a dynamic mother and daughter team. The pair of professionally trained chefs were both diagnosed with autoimmune diseases at the same time and turned to a gluten-free diet to control their symptoms. Through their journey to healing, they found a love for gluten-free cooking and baking. After struggling to find time in their busy days to prep their meals, they decided to open NewBrook Kitchen to provide like-minded eaters with easy-to-heat, and delicious meals. The pair of Hartogs aim to provide their clients with gourmet, gluten-free dishes that can be easily heated and eaten in the comfort of their own homes. NewBrook strives to use the finest quality ingredients, that are free from gluten but never free from taste. Stop by the shop to pick up prepared meals, sides, and soups along with our highly acclaimed gluten-free baked goods.


Head Chef: Danielle Hartog
Danielle is a 2012 Staples graduate and long time food lover. She attended the Culinary Institute of America, and received her Bachelors degree from UConn.
Pastry Chef: Cindy Hartog
Cindy is a longtime Westport resident and has run Cindy's Sous Chefs for the past 15 years. She attended NYU and The Institute of Culinary Education.
